Fiber to the home costs at your fingertips
CQA Cost Data for Fiber deployments combines best practices from 20 years of custom modeling experience with best-in-class location data. We’ve refined the engineering and business logic used in our custom cost models into programmatic algorithms that design an efficient GPON deployment of fiber to the home (FTTh), while referencing pertinent databases of average component and labor costs by region. When combined with our BroadbandFabric Location Data, we’re able to produce on-demand cost estimates that give you accurate signal without the expense or time of a custom model.
Our FTTh cost model is a real-world network design, programmatically run to develop an efficient design for any specific geographic area(s) of interest. Our software runs fiber down each required street, determines and places pedestals, fiber splitters, and optical line terminals. For each fiber cable and item of equipment, we identify determined sizes and quantities. The model is localized for demand density, local geographic conditions, and regional labor rates.

Data assumes the use of unlicensed or CBRS spectrum, average component and labor costs by region, and accounts for local terrain and demand density.
Our Fixed Wireless model uses typical frequency spectrum bands for fixed deployments, sizes cells/serving areas with considerations for demand density, terrain, tower height, and other parameters. Anticipated demand is calculated using CQA’s BroadbandFabric Location Data.
