CostQuest is privileged to be part of the New York Broadband Program.  Working as part of a team of consultants, CostQuest supports the state’s Broadband Program Office (BPO).  Their mission is:

To increase economic and social opportunities through universal broadband deployment. By identifying broadband needs, and developing unique solutions, the BPO is helping to close the digital divide that exists and ensuring all New Yorkers have access to high-speed internet, making Governor Cuomo's goal of 'broadband for all' a reality [1].

CostQuest uses its world class expertise in communication network modeling, geospatial analysis and data analytics to support the program.  Our efforts compliment the consulting team; we use data-driven techniques to help identify the most appropriate auction criteria to support program goals.   We assist the state in maximizing the efficiency of state dollars.  We also help develop reports to monitor program progress.

In March 2017, Governor Cuomo announced the second phase of project awards.  These awards support over 50 projects targeting Unserved or Underserved locations in New York.  The first phase was awarded in late summer 2016.
